Port Grimaud is a recent but a daring construction. This city is located on the Gulf of Saint-Tropez and is commonly called the “Venice of Provence” because of its architectural style inspired by the city of the Doges.
Dating from the second half of the twentieth century, the city is included in the register of architectural monuments of France. Established on a swampy site, the built channels allow mooring gondolas.
Bordered by sandy beaches of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, the lacustrian city of the municipality of Grimaud is a beautiful destination for a quiet and relaxed stay.
